Memorial, TX
Led by: Thalie Simeonidis
ABOUT THALIE: Hello! I’m Thalie, the chapter leader for the Memorial chapter at PEA! I’m really into helping teen mental health since I’m also a part of the Mental Health Society Racing For Wellness fundraising program. I think most teens, including myself, have felt the pressures that come with being in high school. That’s why I think hanging out and making new friends can relieve anxious thoughts. Through enjoyable, bonding exercises, I believe I can help destress teens in my community. My goal at PEA is to spread positive vibes and relieve stress through fun activities and socialization!

Led by: Sailee Kalatrakkal, Madhumita Nimmagadda, and Abhiram Nimmagadda
ABOUT SAILEE: Hey! I’m Sailee, a new chapter leader for the T.H. Rogers chapter at PEA! I am very passionate about sports, and enjoy using them as tools to help others. Whether through badminton, basketball, or even encouragement, I believe physical activity has a major impact on public health. My goal as a chapter leader is to help others around me feel less stressed by school, and to use fun events and even physical activities to engage students and help them feel more at ease after a challenging school year. Ultimately, I am committed to making a positive difference to fellow students, and I look forward to being a part of the new T.H. Rogers PEA chapter!
ABOUT MADHUMITA: Hey! I’m Madhumita, and I’m the chapter co-leader for the T.H. Rogers chapter and graduated from there. I enjoy ice skating, badminton, running, and more. Being active helps me clear my mind and feel better overall. I got involved because I think being part of something like this is a great way to build confidence, leadership, and communication skills. Plus, it gives teens a chance to take a break from the stress of school and just enjoy themselves. My goal is to create a space where people feel comfortable trying new activities and making new friends. Whether we’re playing sports or just hanging out, I want this chapter to be something fun and meaningful for T.H. Rogers students where they can improve their emotional and physical wellbeing.

I hope to give teens in West U a sense of community and improve both their physical and mental health.
ABOUT KEVIN: Hello, I’m Kevin Hu and I’m a co-chapter leader of the West U Chapter with Shengze Lai. I believe physical and mental health are two important things for everybody’s development and that improving these two aspects of one’s life should be a priority. Although I don’t play sports anymore, I often go to the gym throughout the week to stay physically active. The West U Chapter often hosts sports in the West U area because playing sports is a great way to improve not only physical health, but mental health as it is fun and physically demanding. With Shengze, I hope to help people in the West U area enjoy themselves while also staying healthy by playing sports and doing fun activities.
